SHAPE-SEA, in partnership with Southeast Asian Human Rights and Peace Studies Network (SEAHRN), Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Malaya (UM) under Research Group on Revision the Politics of Human Rights in Southeast Asia (GPF0035-2020), and the Faculty of Law, Universitas Indonesia (UI), invites early level academics, researchers and scholars to be part of this Training and Mentorship programme.
This aims to help reinforce data gathering, writing and analytical skills and (2) to strengthen research confidence, as well as capacity to perform research on human rights and peace related issues in Southeast Asia.
This workshop shall be divided into two components. First component features five public seminar (27 May 2021 and 3 June 2021) covering the following topics:

Second component is a mentoring program from 24 May 2021 to 8 June 2021. The program, which is limited to only 20 selected participant, aims to tap into the existing knowledge, skills, and experience of mentors and transfer these skills to the emerging scholars in Southeast Asia in order to advance their careers.
