The 5th Regional Network Meeting on Human Rights Education

ONLINE MEETING ON REGIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS MECHANISMS30 November to 3 December 2021

The ASEAN University Network-Human Rights Education (AUN-HRE) in cooperation with the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights (NCHR), University of Oslo are pleased to invite Northeast and Southeast Asia university lecturers to participate in the 5^th Regional Network Meeting on Human Rights Education, which will be held virtually between 30 November – 3 December 2021.The meeting aims to strengthen the capacity of higher education institutions and faculty members to efficiently provide human rights education and research as well as outreach activities. It also aims to develop a sustainable network between human rights academics from Northeast and Southeast Asia. This 5^th meeting has a special focus on “Regional Human Rights Mechanisms”WHO CAN JOIN?    Lecturers and/or Teaching Assistants who are

• affiliated with an university in Northeast and/or Southeast Asian university
• currently teaching, or planing to teach human rights and/or related issues

REQUIREMENTS  Participants are expected to attend all sessions of the meeting and actively participate in the discussions.LIMITED TO :         30 seats, First come first served.
